Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Incident response coordination and forensic investigation
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
- Implement network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
- Security awareness training for employees
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux environments
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
