Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk.
- Perform regular vulnerability scans and risk assessments to identify potential weaknesses.
- Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA) across the organization.
- Conduct security awareness training for staff members to reduce human error.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches and anomalies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and common attack vectors.
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
