As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be the first line of defense against cyber threats. You will monitor security operations centers (SOC), analyze vulnerability reports, and lead incident response efforts. Your work will directly impact the safety of enterprise data across multiple industries.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and penetration testing to ensure system integrity.
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with IT teams to contain and remediate breaches.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and NIST.
- Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and anti-malware solutions.
- Provide security training and awareness programs to staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GIAC GSEC.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
