Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk and Sentinel SIEM platforms
- Investigate and document security incidents with detailed forensic analysis
- Implement network security controls and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps
- Generate executive-level security reports and compliance documentation
- Conduct penetration testing and threat hunting exercises
- Stay current on emerging threats and MITRE ATT&CK framework updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC or incident response role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting
