Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents within SLA timeframes
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing on client networks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security incident escalations
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive summaries
- Implement zero-trust architecture principles for weekend coverage
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with weekend shift background
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Proficiency in Python/PowerShell for automation scripting
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Recorded Future, CrowdStrike)
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage periods
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
