Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats across enterprise networks using SIEM tools
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents during weekend shifts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security awareness training
- Generate and maintain compliance documentation for regulatory frameworks
- Stay current on emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with network security tools (firewalls, VPNs, WAF)
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with on-call rotation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
