As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll monitor, detect, and respond to sophisticated cyber threats while gaining valuable equity in our company. We offer flexible scheduling, cutting-edge tools, and a culture that values innovation and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise networks using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and adapt security strategies accordingly
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations for critical incident response
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with SOC experience
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)
- Certification in CISSP, Security+, or CEH (or working toward)
- Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms and security automation tools
- Experience with Windows/Linux system administration and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to perform under pressure
- Valid US driver's license and ability to work weekends (Sat/Sun 10am-6pm)
