Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to alerts during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Investigate and mitigate cybersecurity incidents using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing
- Collaborate with on-call engineers during high-priority incidents
- Document security events and update incident response procedures
- Perform forensic analysis on weekend-detected threats
- Provide weekend security posture reports to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with weekend shift exposure
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST CSF)
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during off-hours
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional on-site visits
