Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats across global networks during weekend shifts using SIEM tools
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents, including malware outbreaks and intrusion attempts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Stay current with emerging threats and defensive technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with weekend shift preference
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight)
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigation tools
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
