Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise networks and cloud environments
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on weekend-identified risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security enhancements
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and weekly trend analyses
- Maintain SIEM correlation rules and detection playbooks
- Participate in 24/7 rotational on-call rotation for critical incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC operations
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and CIS controls
- Experience with Windows/Linux system hardening and network security
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 6am-6pm)
- Excellent written communication for incident documentation
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
