We're seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Analyst for weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 10 PM - 6 AM) to monitor, detect, and respond to sophisticated cyber threats. Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts via SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential threats
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and document detailed incident reports
- Implement firewall rules, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security incidents and disaster recovery
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend security improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, SIEM monitoring, or threat detection
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST 800-61)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize threats under pressure
- Weekend shift availability mandatory (Sat/Sun 10 PM - 6 AM)
