Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across 24/7 SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment procedures
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on weekend-protected systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement weekend-specific security protocols
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and recommend preventive measures
- Stay updated on emerging threats and weekend attack vectors
- Maintain security documentation and weekend shift handover procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with weekend shift experience
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours with minimal supervision
- Excellent written communication for incident documentation
