Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events across 24/7 SOC operations using SIEM platforms
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with precision and speed
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop incident response playbooks and security automation scripts
- Collaborate with global threat intelligence teams to proactively defend against attacks
- Document security protocols and provide actionable insights to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC operations
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Expertise in threat detection tools (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security, and incident response frameworks
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
