Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms 24/7 to detect and respond to security incidents
- Conduct forensic investigations and threat hunting during weekend shifts
- Execute vulnerability scans and patch management for enterprise systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security incident escalations
- Document security events and generate comprehensive incident reports
- Participate in tabletop exercises and security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC operations focus
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Experience with threat intelligence feeds (MISP, AlienVault)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Weekend shift availability (Friday-Sunday 12-hour shifts)
