As part of our 24/7 Security Operations Center, you'll monitor threats, analyze vulnerabilities, and implement proactive defenses. Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM, EDR, and network systems during weekend shifts
- Investigate security incidents using forensic tools and industry best practices
- Implement and maintain security controls for cloud/on-premise environments
- Collaborate with weekday analysts for seamless incident handover and documentation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Develop incident response playbooks and security automation scripts
- Provide after-hours security support for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, SOC, or incident response
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with threat hunting methodologies and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and OS hardening
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure situations
