Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security alerts during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven urgency
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Collaborate with incident response team during after-hours security events
- Document security incidents and maintain comprehensive audit trails
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and malware incidents
- Develop and refine security playbooks for weekend-specific threat scenarios
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (or equivalent)
- Experience with NIST cybersecurity framework implementation
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, encryption, and threat vectors
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation scripting
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
