Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to alerts during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 10 AM - 6 PM)
- Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and incident response coordination
- Manage SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and generate actionable security reports
- Collaborate with global SOC teams during critical security incidents
- Implement security controls and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
- Document security incidents and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security operations center (SOC) environments
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+ certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, network security protocols, and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61, MITRE ATT&CK)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize threats in high-pressure situations
- Must be available for weekend shifts and occasional on-call rotations
