Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents during weekend shifts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance reports
- Implement zero-trust architecture principles
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity or 5+ years relevant experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with NIST frameworks and CIS benchmarks
- Proficiency in IDS/IPS and firewall configuration
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
