As a cornerstone of our Security Operations Center, you'll monitor, detect, and respond to sophisticated cyber threats while the city sleeps. Our Columbus-based team operates in a state-of-the-art facility with flexible scheduling that ensures your weekdays remain free for personal pursuits.
Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security alerts during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing on critical systems
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and remediation documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during major security events
- Conduct weekly threat intelligence briefings for leadership
- Maintain compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in threat detection and incident response methodologies
- Experience with network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
- Weekend availability mandatory (Friday 6 PM - Monday 6 AM)
