Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and logs across 24/7 SIEM platforms during weekend rotations
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SOAR automation tools
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during incident response activations
- Document security events and maintain comprehensive audit trails
- Contribute to threat intelligence analysis and proactive hunting initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with SOC/NOC experience
- CompTIA Security+/CEH/CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun 11PM-7AM)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK)
