Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise infrastructure during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and patch management for weekend updates
- Document incident reports and forensic analysis following NIST guidelines
- Coordinate with on-call engineers during critical security events
- Participate in weekend security drills and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, SOC, or incident response
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site
