Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on weekend-protected systems
- Collaborate with incident response teams to execute weekend emergency playbooks
- Document security incidents and maintain comprehensive weekend shift logs
- Conduct weekend forensic analysis of advanced persistent threats
- Develop and test weekend-specific security monitoring procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and Windows/Linux environments
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure weekend scenarios
- Valid Florida driver's license for occasional on-site weekend rotations
