Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR systems
- Investigate and respond to security incidents within SLA timeframes
- Perform forensic analysis on compromised systems and malware
- Document incident reports and recommend preventive measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security incidents
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing activities
- Stay updated on emerging threats and attack techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SOC operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with Windows/Linux system administration
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and protocols
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license and clean background check
