Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and respond to cybersecurity incidents during weekend shifts
- Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and forensic analysis
- Document incident reports, security events, and mitigation procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
- Participate in security drills and incident response simulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC analyst or incident responder background
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint security platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent written communication skills for incident documentation
