Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to alerts during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 12 PM - 12 AM)
- Conduct threat intelligence analysis and incident response for emerging cyber threats
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security protocols
- Document security incidents and generate comprehensive reports
- Stay updated on evolving cybersecurity trends and technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices
- Ability to work independently during non-standard hours
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
