Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms to detect and respond to threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate cross-functional response efforts
- Develop and implement security policies aligned with NIST and ISO frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure continuous security posture improvement
- Document security events and maintain comprehensive incident response logs
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and cloud security architectures
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, or Security+) required
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
