Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Generate incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
- Stay updated on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong understanding of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
