Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for anomalous activity during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to security incidents including malware, intrusion attempts, and data breaches
- Perform vulnerability scanning and penetration testing on client systems
- Generate detailed incident reports and recommend remediation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during major security events
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security protocols and detection capabilities
- Maintain compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with Windows/Linux environments and network protocols
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday shifts (12-hour shifts)
