We are looking for a proactive security professional to defend our networks against evolving threats and ensure business continuity.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts in real-time to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to strengthen system defenses.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches with speed and precision.
- Implement and maintain security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS).
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure infrastructure.
- Document security incidents and create detailed incident reports for management review.
- Conduct security awareness training for staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network security operations.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and firewall management.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
