Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and anomalies
- Conduct threat intelligence analysis to identify emerging cyber threats
- Perform forensic investigations on security breaches and data compromises
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Execute vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Provide real-time incident response coordination during security events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity analysis experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and log analysis methodologies
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security architectures
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
