You'll be at the forefront of threat detection, incident response, and security strategy implementation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential threats
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and develop mitigation strategies
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, CIS, and HIPAA standards
- Document security procedures and create incident response playbooks
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation for critical security incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or analyst roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, network protocols, and Windows/Linux systems
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigation tools
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
