Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Respond to security incidents, coordinate with legal teams, and manage incident remediation to minimize downtime.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to design secure architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network administration.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with automated threat hunting and log analysis is a plus.
