Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents and potential breaches.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices and patches.
- Assist in compliance audits (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and documentation.
- Stay updated on the latest threat intelligence and security trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or threat analysis.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and encryption.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, or ArcSight).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during incident response.
