Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and manage the patch management lifecycle.
- Perform security audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards (NIST, ISO).
- Investigate and contain security breaches, documenting findings for forensic analysis.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security controls into development pipelines.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a SOC or Security Operations Center environment.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and common network protocols.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell is a plus.
