Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage patch management processes.
- Perform threat hunting and log analysis to identify potential breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure architectures.
- Lead incident response drills and tabletop exercises.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security or SOC operations.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with Python or PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
