Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting, forensic investigations, and incident response coordination
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for zero-day vulnerabilities
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with network engineering teams on hardening infrastructure
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Lead security awareness training for cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or threat detection roles
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required (GIAC preferred)
- Expertise in NIST frameworks, MITRE ATT&CK, and CIS benchmarks
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Deep understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Experience with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne) and cloud-native security
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
