Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight).
- Investigate, triage, and respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and manage remediation efforts.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Conduct security awareness training and create documentation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure infrastructure deployment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC, Security Operations Center, or Network Security role.
- Experience with SIEM platforms and log analysis.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
