Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents and coordinate response protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches
- Stay current on threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 SOC coverage
