Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses and security gaps.
- Manage and remediate security vulnerabilities across the network infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Enforce corporate security policies and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security controls and secure coding practices.
- Document security incidents, maintain detailed audit trails, and prepare incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security analysis, or SOC operations.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Experience with security tools such as FireEye, CrowdStrike, or Palo Alto Networks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.
