Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive dashboards
- Lead incident response playbooks and post-mortem analyses
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat detection
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS/Azure security services)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize critical incidents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA)
