Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate breach remediation
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Document security procedures and create executive reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto)
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with security automation (Python, PowerShell)
