Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and respond to incidents within SLAs
- Develop and maintain security documentation including policies and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement zero-trust architecture solutions
- Analyze threat intelligence and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR tools
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
- Experience with threat hunting and malware analysis techniques
- Ability to work independently in remote environments
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
