Responsibilities
- Real-time Monitoring: Continuously monitor security alerts and SIEM dashboards to detect and respond to potential threats 24/7 during the weekend shift.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, including malware analysis and root cause analysis.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct rigorous vulnerability scans and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Threat Intelligence: Analyze global threat landscapes to proactively adjust our defense strategies and stay ahead of cybercriminals.
- Compliance Reporting: Generate detailed reports for stakeholders regarding security posture, incident logs, and regulatory compliance (NIST, HIPAA).
- Collaboration: Partner with the on-site team during handover periods to ensure seamless continuity of security operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or Network Operations.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work Saturdays and Sundays (Weekend Shift) on a rotating schedule.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), and Endpoint Protection.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
