Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for real-time threat detection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Incident response coordination including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in network security or threat analysis
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required (CompTIA Security+ acceptable)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to prioritize incidents under pressure
