Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, root cause analysis, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support to identify weaknesses in network architecture.
- Enforce security policies and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA) across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT operations to deploy security patches and configurations.
- Document security incidents, procedures, and system configurations for regulatory audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or CCNA Security are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Experience with scripting (Python or PowerShell) is a plus.
