Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential threats
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and implement remediation actions
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and incident response procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend security improvements
- Provide security awareness training to employees and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis or information security roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and network security protocols
- Experience with incident response methodologies and forensic tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively
