Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring: Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to identify potential breaches and anomalies in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation, containment, and eradication of cybersecurity incidents and cyberattacks.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation planning.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to compliance frameworks such as SOC2, HIPAA, and NIST standards.
- Security Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to reduce human error and phishing risks across the organization.
- Firewall & Network Security: Configure, manage, and audit firewall rules and network security appliances.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CCNA Security (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, or similar) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Network Knowledge: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, and network protocols.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings to executive stakeholders.
