In this role, you will be the guardian of our digital assets, identifying vulnerabilities and mitigating threats before they impact our operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our security posture meets industry standards.
What You Will Do:
- Monitor security systems and respond to alerts in a 24/7 SOC environment.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Ensure compliance with federal and industry regulations (NIST, HIPAA).
- Develop and update incident response plans and playbooks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and network topology.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and Endpoint Detection (EDR).
- Active Security+, CEH, or CISSP certification preferred.
