Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM systems (Splunk, ArcSight) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other network security devices.
- Enforce information security policies and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Security Analyst or SOC Analyst.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with log analysis and forensics tools.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
