Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents and coordinate remediation efforts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security documentation and compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (minimal hours)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with relevant certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH)
- Proficiency in network security tools and protocols (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be eligible for U.S. government security clearance
